Biography
|
Marius Kritzinger studied at the University of Stellenbosch and obtained a Masters degree, Cum Laude, in 1968, after which he joined the corporate business world, specialising in marketing and public relations. During this time, his interest in art, urged him to start collecting fine art, and when he resigned from the corporate business sector in 1998, he decided to spend more time and effort in adding value to the South African art economy. At that time, he realised that artists did not always have the time or skills to market their art professionally, and that art galleries did not always get professional service from artists.
Since then, his services as an agent for artists has become much sought after and at present he is representing some of South Africa’s top artists, marketing their art nationally and abroad. Marius is a Professional member of the South African Institute of Marketing Management, as well as a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner, registered with the Public Relations Institute of South Africa.
His wife Hester who studied Fine Art at Wits University assists him.
